Supporting Bloxham Move Up the League!

Posted on November 9, 2019 by Peter Donaldson

We are delighted to be supporting a local grassroots team in Oxfordshire. The Under 12 Rangers from Bloxham, Banbury play in the Witney and District Youth League and now proudly wear our logo on their backs, on a match day.

Bloxham FC (http://www.bloxhamfc.co.uk) are an inclusive, local community club with teams from U6 – Vets, with a growing number of players largely due to their philosophy of making sure kids just play!

We wish them all the best for the season and hope to see them on their own move up the league, in their bid to perform better each week!

Thank You to Your Team

Posted on November 9, 2019 by Peter Donaldson

Hi Graham

Just wanted to say thank you to your team for the move on Monday.  The guys did a great job and had us packed and unloaded by about 1.30.  They were really courteous and friendly and particularly conscientious about what they were doing.

Hoping to have our new house built in about 6 months so will be back in touch for your assistance again.

Best regards

Jim

Changes to Shared Ownership Scheme

Posted on October 24, 2019 by Peter Donaldson

In an attempt to improve the number of home owners, particularly among young people, the government have announced a change to the shared ownership scheme. Under the previous system people could buy a proportion of their home, which can be as little as 25%, and then pay a subsidised rent on the rest.

10% portions of the home could then be purchased, allowing for more of the home to be owned. Under the new plans 1% increments will be considered, making it easier to buy more of the home.

Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said, “Building the houses this country needs is a central priority of this government. We know that most people still want to own their own home, but for many the dream seems a remote one. My mission is to increase the number of homes that are being delivered and to get more young people and families onto the housing ladder, particularly those on lower incomes.

Help to Buy, the cut to Stamp Duty and our home-building programmes are already making a real difference, but I am clear we need to go much further if we are to make the housing market work.”

This is good news for Oxfordshire with new housing popping up across the county from Banbury and Bicester to Abingdon and Watlington, it will hopefully provide greater opportunities for Oxfordshire residents.

Massive Thank You!

Posted on June 30, 2019 by Peter Donaldson

Dear Graham,

I firstly want to say a massive thank you to the removal team who recently moved us from Kidlington to Devizes.
As before, both the packing team and removal teams were excellent, very efficient and careful with our belongings.

As I have been doing, I will be recommending you to all I know in Oxford and at Wycliffe Hall.

We have some boxes and a small amount of packing paper left over. Is it possible for you to pick these up at some point?

Kind regards,
Richard

Amazing and Invaluable Support!

Posted on May 22, 2019 by Peter Donaldson

Dear Graham,

Gosh it’s been a week already.  Our lives in Islip have just about got back to normal!  I have popped a card in the post, but I wanted to email you on behalf of everyone involved in this year’s Islip Big Bike Ride to say thank you for your amazing and absolutely invaluable support once again. The professionalism of you and your team along with your incredible generosity was appreciated by all of us.  You made it look absolutely effortless.  Thank you so much.

The event was a huge success with happy riders and lots of funds raised for our village charities.  I do hope that you would be willing to be involved again in the future if the bike ride takes place again.

With huge thanks,

Hattie

(on behalf of the committee and the wider Islip community)
