Our New All Singing All Dancing Depot In Tolworth

THE brand new, state of the art Tolworth depot for The Master Removers Group was all-singing, all-dancing recently when it was chosen by country-pop duo Ward Thomas as the backdrop to their latest music video.

The duo’s connections come via their father Anthony and his company of 40 years, Ward Thomas Removals – which was the founding brand of The Master Removers Group (MRG).

Twins Catherine and Lizzy, who have been successfully performing and recording for about eight years, have been dubbed “Britain’s first country stars”. They wanted somewhere out of the ordinary to film their latest release, “Someday”, and the purpose-built MRG container warehouse fitted the bill perfectly.

The Master Removers Group is the umbrella which embraces a diverse collective of logistics and removal brands – all with the same commitment to excellent customer service and with a can-do attitude.

There are several brands in the Group – at locations across the South of England – which offer premium domestic removals and storage. They are complemented by comprehensive UK-wide logistics from the Bishopsgate Specialist Installations brand, with its five depots from London to Glasgow.

Each brand in the MRG works collaboratively for the common good, but is managed by individuals who have grown to become shareholders, and brand champions. The result is a culture of healthy competition between the brands with teamwork and support at its heart.

The Ward Thomas band’s video release precedes their upcoming global livestream event at the Theatre Royal in London’s Haymarket.

Master Removers MD Tim Bloch said: “I was so excited to welcome the twins to our new South London home. They brought some showbiz glamour, colour and creativity to our sometimes humdrum logistics world.”

He added: “The new building was more than two years in the planning, and its opening heralded the acquisition of Gentleman and A Van, the newest brand of the Group.”

Founder of Gentleman and A Van, Mark Godman, and business partner James Nash have grown their company from nothing. They recognised their future development needed the additional support of The Master Removers Group. Mark said: “James and I are really excited to have this opportunity to place Gentleman and A Van as a keystone of this new site in South London. What a way to publicise and show off our excellent new warehouse!”
